The third instalment of Self-Employed Income Support can be claimed from 30th November 2020.
The third instalment of Self-Employed Income Support (SEISS) can be claimed from Monday 30th November 2020.
As a result of the continued impact of coronavirus on business, including the requirement for lockdown measures and trading restrictions, the grant has been increased to 80% of trading profits for a three-month period.
Your business must be impacted negatively by coronavirus and you must intend on continuing to trade. You cannot make a claim if your business has ceased.
Further guidance on eligibility can be found here and we are happy to discuss your circumstances with you ahead of your claim: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/claim-a-grant-through-the-coronavirus-covid-19-self-employment-income-support-scheme#whocanclaim
We wish to remind clients that these grants are taxable and will form part of your taxable income for the current tax year.
We intend to email out the link to claim on Monday for clients who require it but you can search for this yourself on the HM Revenue & Customs website from 30th November.
